Online Applications
For passport applications submitted online through GOV.UK
Digital Photo Requirements:
- • At least 600 pixels wide and 750 pixels tall
- • At least 50KB and no more than 10MB
- • Clear and in focus
- • In color
- • Unaltered by computer software
Available formats:
- • UK Passport (Online) - 900x1200 pixel
- • UK Passport (Online) - 1200x1500 pixel
Paper Applications
For passport applications submitted by post using paper forms
Printed Photo Requirements:
- • 2 identical printed photos required
- • 35mm wide × 45mm high (standard UK photo booth size)
- • Printed to professional standard
- • No creases or tears
- • Unmarked on both sides
Available format:
- • UK Passport (35x45mm)
